CCC Data Warehouse Documentation and Resources

June 29, 2021

server stack sharing data through multiple connectionsAs part of the Data Services Program initiative supported by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, CCC Data provides the infrastructure to aggregate data across disparate systems to a central enterprise data warehouse.

Access to this data is provided to institutional researchers, college and district administrators, and other decision makers at the colleges, district offices, and the Chancellor’s Office, where it may be used to support instructional and institutional decision-making aligned with the Chancellor's Vision for Success.

Currently, authorized users are able to:

  • Run preconfigured reports that pull data from the CCC Data Warehouse, currently limited to the LGBTQ report.
  • Query available data sources, run ad-hoc reports, and download results.
  • Create an Ad Hoc View from which you can create reports based on data from:
    • CCCApply Standard & Noncredit Applications
    • CCCApply LGBTQ Data (AB 620)
    • CCCApply International Application
    • California College Promise Grant Application
    • Multiple Measures Placement Service (MMPS)

The next iteration of CCC Data, version 2.1, has been released to production, expanding data sources and access. Read more about the scope of the release here.

The Enabling Services (ES) Implementation Configuration Engineering (ICE) team has been working with select colleges to test functionality of the 2.1 release. The ES Implementation Readiness team has been working closely with the ICE and CCC Data teams to outline the workflows involved in implementing the product.

To learn more about the 2.1 CCC Data release as well as overall product functionality, please review the documentation below. The user guides have been developed to provide authorized users with essential information about both the CCC Data Warehouse Report Server and direct access to the CCC Data Warehouse. Additionally, an FAQ guide has been created to help users should they require additional support.
