CollegeBuys logoCommunity colleges statewide will be able to get discounted pricing on financial aid software and video remote interpreting services through CollegeBuys, under two new technology agreements executed by the Foundation for California Community Colleges.

CampusLogic Financial Aid Software

In September 2017, the Foundation, in partnership with Foothill-De Anza Community College District, released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Financial Aid Communication, Verification and Tracking System (RFP #1790). Through this competitive and collaborative process, the Foundation awarded CampusLogic an agreement (CB-235-18).

This California Public Contract Code compliant agreement provides discounts ranging from 25 percent to 40 percent on the following CampusLogic platforms:

  • StudentForms: Simplify financial aid forms and processes. StudentForms drives financial aid office productivity, reducing time spent on verification, SAP appeals, PJs and C-code resolution through paperless file review. Conflicting information is highlighted, eliminating the data entry necessary to generate ISIR corrections. Automated student follow-ups through text and email reduce the time spent contacting students with reminders to complete critical tasks.

  • AwardLetter: Deliver digital award letters and financial aid communications. AwardLetter empowers more effective financial aid communications with students for award letters, debt letters, shopping sheets, and more. Simplify financial aid communications with AwardLetter’s templates, automatic delivery scheduling, and pre-built analytics.

  • CampusMetrics: Make better decisions with instant financial aid insights. The only data visualization software tailored for the student finance journey. A powerful plugin for your CampusLogic student financial services platform, CampusMetrics instantly turns financial aid and student finance data into a strategic-planning tool right at your fingertips.

CC Group Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)

Through a competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, the Foundation recently executed an agreement with Communications Consulting Group, LLC (CC Group), creating a systemwide contract for Video Remote Interpreting services (CB-236-18).

CC Group has teamed up with students, educators and prestigious institutions at every level on a mission to equip each learner with custom communication solutions optimized for their academic success. The Foundation is proud to partner with CC Group to join efforts in providing equal access to communication for deaf students through CC Group’s own revolutionary remote services, EdVRI.

CC Group guarantees interpreter consistency throughout the semester, in a distinct effort to streamline contextual classroom knowledge and provide peace of mind for students. EdVRI interpreters are highly-equipped with a wealth of experience and are always backed by diverse communication strategies, state-of-the-art technology, and a commitment to student success.
