CollegeBuys, a program of the Foundation for California Community CollegesThe Foundation for California Community Colleges, through its CollegeBuys program, renewed its partnership for technology products with CDW Government (CDW-G), a leading provider of integrated information technology solutions.

On June 2, 2017, the Foundation secured a new agreement with CDW-G through the California Higher Education Shared Services (CHESS) Consortium. The agreement aggregates the buying power of the state's three higher education systems — California Community Colleges (CCC), California State University, and University of California — to obtain the greatest cost savings for the CCC.

The Foundation agreement is compliant with California’s Public Contract Code (Sec. 20653.5) and California Education Code (Sec.81646) through Assembly Bill 653.
