California Community Colleges Online Education InitiativeThe California Community Colleges (CCC) Online Education Initiative (OEI) is once again partnering with the Online Teaching Conference to bring together educators to share and learn about innovative and effective online education.

The Online Teaching Conference (OTC) is recognized as the premier peer-to-peer meeting place for online educators across the state. For the OEI, the annual conference has provided a way to personally meet with educators who support its mission to increase access to high-quality online courses and support tools for the students of California, as well as reach out to those who have not fully embraced the initiative.

Begun over 15 years ago, OTC has continued to grow and attract capacity crowds made up of faculty, staff and administrators from the CCC and other institutions. OTC’16 drew on-site attendance of more than 850 people. In 2017, OTC will be held June 19-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., to accommodate what is expected to be its largest audience to date.
