Pasadena City College logo MoblEd10 is a free mini-conference exploring the impact of mobile technology’s impact on learning and communication in the 21st century. The conference will be held Monday evening, April 19th through Tuesday, April 20th, 2010, at Pasadena City College in Pasadena, California. Pre-conference activities for Monday are to be announced.

On Monday evening, the conference will begin with a keynote presentation followed by a panel discussion of business and education Dr. Ian
Bogostrepresentatives. Tuesday, will be a full day of interactive, hands-on workshops and featured presentations. The goal is to develop a toolkit of relevant, free or low cost technologies that educators can integrate to enhance learning.

  • How to use mobile devices to create dynamic learning experiences.
  • Developing collaboration and critical thinking skills using mobile applications and technologies.
  • Learning to use collaborative Web 2.0 tools for work and in the classroom.

Registration for MoblEd10 is free. The first 75 California Community Colleges instructors to register will have an opportunity to win an iPod Touch or a $50 iTunes App Store credit.
