The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office has announced the availability of $5250 in scholarships for attending the SecureIT 2010 Conference. The scholarships are available to California Community Colleges faculty and staff.

The conference will be held March 4-5, 2010 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Los Angeles. The scholarship funding amounts to approximately 19 one-day or 15 two-day scholarships depending on the types of application received.

There are only five days left to submit a proposal for presentation to the 2010 Online Teaching Conference. Accepted presenters will have their conference registration fees waived for the conference occurring June 16-18 at San Diego City College.

CCC TechEDge, the California Community Colleges system technology newsletter, has migrated to a new, entirely online format. The move continues a tradition of excellence begun in 2003 and is intended to more effectively reach the newsletter's audience.
