Online Teaching Conference 2010 Call For Proposals: Deadline Jan 31

There are only five days left to submit a proposal for presentation to the 2010 Online Teaching Conference. Accepted presenters will have their conference registration fees waived for the conference occurring June 16-18 at San Diego City College.
This year's conference has a new, wider focus, moving it beyond postsecondary only to include the entire K-20 educational community. The 2010 conference will focus on K-20 faculty, staff and administrators engaged or interested in online education, including delivery of online services such as student, faculty, library and technical support.
Presentation proposals are due January 31 with notification in late February 2010.
Presentation tracks include:
- Universal Access - Accessibility, learning styles, etc.
- Hot Topics - Basic Skills, STEM Education, Authentication, etc.
- Online Teaching Effective Practices - Teaching practices that work
- Green and Sustainable Learning - Education that saves energy and engages students for now and the future
- Support Services & Resources - Student Services, Library Services, Instructional Design and Faculty Services, Learning Object Repositories, Digital Texbooks, and other Teaching/Learning Resources
- Technology & Social Networking - Creative use of Web 2.0, social networking, new products and releases
- Leadership, Planning & Evaluation - Online learning program issues and strategies

The 2010 conference will include keynote addresses by Allison Powell, Vice President at iNACOL International Association for K-12 Online Learning, and Candace Thille, Director of the Open Learning Initiative (OLI) at Carnegie Mellon University. <>
