@ONE has launched a newly revised and updated course in Canvas: “Creating Accessible Course Content,” bringing a fresh perspective on how to make online courses more accessible.
The four-week course will show you techniques you can use to make your online course materials not only technically accessible, but also more usable for all your students. The key here is that all the techniques you'll learn about are things that you can do yourself. And you'll have the opportunity to try them all out as part of weekly assignments.
In this course, you'll learn about accessibility standards that are required for exemplary online courses, how to design effective and accessible web pages, how to create retrofit and curate accessible documents, and how to make multimedia accessible. Did we also mention... it's available in Canvas!
Two sections are being offered for February and two for April. Space is limited, so register soon. Visit the @ONE website for more information, or browse through the course sections below.
