A panel discussion focused on student data is on tap to kick off Day Two of the CCCApply and California Electronic Transcripts 2017 Annual Workshop, coming up April 12-13 at Sacramento City College in Sacramento, Calif.
Geared toward administrators and staff from college admissions, student services, information technology, financial aid and research, the annual event is free to attend.
Day One is for California Community Colleges (CCC) personnel and centers on CCCApply, the online student application to the CCC. Day Two is focused on electronic transcript exchange and is open to individuals from all California higher education institutions. See the event page for more information and to register.
Day 2 Is All About Data
The theme for Day Two is “Admission to Graduation #It’sAllAboutTheData”, and that also happens to be the title of the opening general session presentation. Presenters from California’s three public higher education systems will discuss student data as it relates to electronic transcript exchange:
- Tim Calhoon, Executive Director of the CCC Technology Center, Butte College
- April Grommo, Director of Enrollment Management Services, California State University
- Evera Spears, Interim Associate Director of Student Affairs and Undergraduate Admissions, University of California
The opening keynote for the day will be presented by Dr. Terri Gomez, Interim Associate Vice President for Student Services, Cal Poly Pomona.
Each year, the CCCApply and eTranscript California steering committees hold the two-day workshop to connect with colleagues at other institutions and discuss the issues unique to CCCApply and electronic transcript exchange across California, including CSU, UC, and private universities. The location of the workshop alternates between the northern and southern parts of the state.
Session/speaker and vendor information will be posted on the event page as they are announced. Visit the event page for further details and a link to register.
