Don't Miss: Information Security Workshop, July 15

CCC Information Security Workshop July 15, 2015

Seats are still available for the California Community Colleges (CCC) Information Security Workshop being held July 15, 2015, at Mt. San Antonio College.

Open to all IT professionals systemwide, the one-day workshop will feature insightful presentations by CCC IT faculty and staff as well as technology vendors. The workshop is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Attendees will enjoy presentations by fellow CCC colleagues about the challenges they have faced with information security issues and how they have solved them,” said workshop organizer Jeff Holden, Chief Information Security Officer of the CCC Technology Center. “The biggest benefit from the workshop is the networking opportunity with fellow CCC IT staff."

In addition to Holden, scheduled presenters include:

  • Kevin Riley, systems analyst and IT instructor at Orange Coast College
  • Dr. Roger Powell, chair of the Computer Information Technology and Computer Science Department at San Bernardino Valley College
  • Representatives from CENIC, F5 Networks and Tenable Network Security
